Brenda Holland Harkins

Mrs. Brenda Holland Harkins, 66, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away at her residence on Sunday, April 16, 2023 following a period of declining health. Mrs. Harkins was born in Rapid City, South Dakota on May 23, 1956, the daughter of the late Eugene Asberry Holland and Dorothy Earl Turner Holland.

She had lived the greater part of her life in Gordon County, and was a graduate of Calhoun High School. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Mapco.

Survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Harkins; two sons, Perry Lynn Harkins Jr. and James Alton Collie; three brothers, Eugen Stan Holland, Robert Martin Holland and Terry Lee Holland; grandchildren, Justin Lee Collie, Luke Harkins, Emma Harkins, Chloe Harkins and Braelynn Harkins, along with other relatives.

The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, April 18th at 6:00 PM from Tabernacle of Praise with Pastor, Rev. Rick Adcock and  Rev. Roy Smith officiating.  Burial will follow on Wednesday, April 19th at 10:00 AM  in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday April 18th at Tabernacle of Praise from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
