Obituary

Bradley Leigh Goldston, 45, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023. He was born on July 11, 1977, in Pascagoula, Mississippi to Rodney and Vicki Goldston. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Mary Goldston, Bud and Toddie Nelson; cousins, Michael Goldston, Barrett Holder, Danica Holder, and Rachael Plante.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Tiffany Goldston; son, Braxten Goldston; daughter, Paityn Goldston; sister, Jen Morgan and her fianc Greg Walker; father and mother-in-law, Mike and Lucy Cook; grandmother, Nell Eubanks; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jonathan and Misty Thompson, Turner and Ashley Bates; nieces and nephews, Zoey and Ryder Thompson, Lucee and Tobe Minten; like a sister, Amanda Haynes and her daughter Brooklyn; aunts and uncles, Roxanne and Laney Woods, Glenn Nelson, Lawana Nelson and Titus Beachy, Richard and Mary Goldston, Mike and Judy Beairsto.
Brad graduated from Cave Spring High School in Roanoke, Virginia. He was an amazing athlete, excelling in track, basketball, and tennis. He worked as a regional sales manager for NA Williams, where he had just received the "Above and Beyond" award. This award describes Brad in everyday life. He always went above and beyond everyday for everyone. To know Brad was to love Brad. He was truly one of a kind. He was charismatic, generous, enthusiastic, thoughtful, cheerful, loyal, and passionate. He was a people pleaser who loved life. He loved Virginia Tech, grilling, and entertaining people. He loved ice cream almost as much as he loved his friends and family. Throughout the years he became quite the craftsman. Brad loved all children and had a passion to work with them, encourage them, give them confidence, and make them better in every way possible. He was patient and he was kind. He was such a special human and will be missed every second of every day.
The funeral service will be held Monday, January 16, 2023, at 3:00 PM from Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Parrott, Turner Bates, and Byron Wood officiating. Entombment will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers serving are Turner Bates, Jonathan Thompson, Robert Lavery, Travis Nelson, Adam Nelson, and Dan Murrell. Honorary pallbearers are Les Cline, Jason Hughes, Chris Stewart, Corey Goble, Bill Kotun, Curtis Beairsto, Tyler Martinez, John Beuder, Byron Wood, and Junior North.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 16, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
