Bobby Gray

Bobby Gray, age 47 of the Sonoraville Community, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010 at his residence following a brief illness.

Bobby was born on May 18, 1962 in Louisa, Kentucky, son of William Junior (Bill) Gray and the late Nell Ruth Copley Gray. He was a Plant Operator for Vulcan Materials and a member of Plainview Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Andrew Gray of Calhoun, and Zachary Gray of the Sonoraville Community; his father, Bill Gray of Calhoun; four brothers, Doug Gray, Phillip Gray, and Rev. George Gray, all of Sonoraville, and Delbert Gray of Calhoun. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Bobby Gray will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00pm from the Plainview Baptist Church, with Rev. Mark Harris officiating. Active pallbearers serving will include Dennis Townsend, David Gray, Charles Gray, Timmy Chastain, William McSwain and Chris McSwain. Honorary pallbearers are Anthony Gray, Timmy Angel and Jerry Turner. Interment will follow the service in the Plainview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Tuesday during the hours of 6:00pm until 9:00pm.
