Bobby Joe Fortenberry, 82, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away at his residence on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. He was born in Chatsworth, Georgia on January 12, 1942, to the late Keller and Elaine Fortenberry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Michael Fortenberry.
He is survived by his sons, Timothy, Bobby, David, and Jason; daughter, Debra; sisters, Linda, Pat, Dorothy, and Sandra; grandchildren, Timothy, Dustin, and Emily; great-grandchildren, Luka and Parker.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons with Rev. Timothy Gowens officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Church Cemetery.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Bobby Joe Fortenberry.
