Bob Gallman

Mr. Bob Gallman, 68, of Highway 225 South, Chatsworth, Georgia passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023 at AdventHealth Redmond in Rome, Georgia.

Bob was born in Murray County, Georgia on May 12, 1955, the son of the late Gordon and Tilda Leatherwood Gallman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Glenn Gallman, Jerry Gallman and Charles "Doug" Gallman; two sisters, Pam Slaughter and Virginia Ballew. Bob was an avid deer hunter and fisherman, and prior to retirement he was in the construction trade.

Survivors include his two brothers, Tom (Marie) Gallman, and Larry (Reba) Gallman; two sisters, Ruby Gallman and Shirley Douglas, and a host on nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services for Bob Gallman will be held Monday, November 27th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Derrick Ingle and Rev. Bill Tatum officiating. Music will be arranged by his niece and nephews, Angela Gallman Starks, Greg Gallman and Anthony Gallman. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery in Murray County with Rev. David Peeler conducting the graveside service. Pallbearers serving will include, Russell Gallman, Eric Rogers, Michael Gallman, Rowdy Stephens, Ray Ballew and Wayne Banks.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Bob's memory on this obituary page.

The family will receive friends Sunday, November the 26th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 Pm at the funeral home.
