Obituary

Mr. Billy "Bill" Floyd Crawford, 86, of Chatsworth, Georgia died Friday, March 5, 2021 at Tranquility in Dalton, Georgia.
Bill was born in Gordon County, Georgia on April 7, 1934, son of the late Virgil R. and Nellie Baugh Crawford. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four sisters, Sally Russo, Madge Boswell, Lucille Akins and Virginia Snyder and by three brothers, Frank Crawford, Howard Crawford and Hugh Crawford. He began his working career at Ojay Mills and later he entered the automobile business and owned and operated Crawford Auto Sales for many years prior to his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Elrod Crawford to whom he was married for 57 years, one sister, Betty Crawford of Norcross, GA., nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mr. Bill Crawford will be held on Monday, March 8th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Blackstock and Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Murray County.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
