Betty Carol Stapp

Betty Carol Stapp, 78, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025. She was born on November 7, 1946, to the late Billie Sunday and Mildred Elsie Stewart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Stapp Jr.; brother, Billy Ray Stewart; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda Gail (Lee) Kirkpatrick; niece, Michelle (Jimmy) Carter.

Betty is survived by her nieces, Cristy Long and Donna Allen; great-nephews, Kevin (Meagan) Johns, Gordon (Courtney) Long, Hunter (Tabitha) Long, Dale Carter; great-niece, Nicole (Kelsie) Whitlock; great-great-nieces, Avah Johns, Caylee Johns, Serenity Long; great-great-nephews, Braden Johns, Dawson Johns, Kyler Long, Jacob Nelson, James Nelson; special friend, Regina Wyatt, and lots of other family members.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2025, at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kevin Johns, Gordon Long, Jacky Long, Jacob Nelson, Arthur Riffle, and Jonathan Riffle.
