Obituary

Betty Ruth Mealer Dilbeck, 90, of Adairsville, Georgia died Tuesday, July 13, 2021. She was born on October 22, 1930, in Bartow County to the late Homer E. and Ruth Belcher Mealer. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2009, Dudley Dilbeck; brothers, Ralph Mealer, Paul Mealer, Harold Mealer, James Mealer; brother-in-law, Larry Nicholson.
Betty is survived by her two sisters, Joyce Mealer Nicholson and Wanda Mealer Hibberts (Larry). Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 15, 2021, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Plainview Baptist Church.
The funeral service will follow the visitation at 3:00 PM with Rev. Larry Hibberts officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Stacy Hensley officiating. Pallbearers are Danny Mealer, Gary Mealer, Bruce Mealer, Donnie Mealer, Matt Hibberts, and Barry Nicholson.
The family would like to give a special thanks to all the staff of Morning Pointe and The Lantern for their love and care. The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Betty Ruth Mealer Dilbeck.
