Barbara Kay (Parker) Payne, 61, of the Plainville Community, Adairsville, Georgia died Monday, May 10, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.. She was born on August 30, 1959 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Richard and Naomi Wilson Parker.
Barbara was a member of Way of The Cross Church in Rome, Georgia.She loved and adored her grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by the ones she loved.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Thomas "Tommy" Payne; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Brooke Morgan, Allen and Pam Morgan, Shane and Jada Swift, and Roy Jr and Cathy Payne; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Billy Tucker; 18 grandchildren; very special sister in Christ, Cathy Dominy.
To honor her wishes her body was cremated and the family will have a memorial service Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM from The Way of The Cross Church, 208 Darlington Drive Rome, Georgia 30161 with Rev. Tom Dominy, Rev. Bobby Garland, Rev. Kenny Vaughn, and Rev. Donald Lindsey officiating.
