Obituary

Barbara Jean Murrell Witherby, 88, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Friday, May 13, 2022. She was born on January 11, 1934, to the late Alfred and Agnes Duncan Murrell.
Barbara is survived by her son, Michael James Witherby (Monica); daughters, Leigh Ann Witherby Blaylock (Ricky), Sherri Lynn Witherby Wright; grandchildren, Jeffrey Sunday, Gary Sunday, Kelly Furlong Brown (Robert "Marty"), Emily Williams Carpenter (Kit); great-grandchildren, Rylan, Levi, Jeffrey, Aidan, Knox, Kellyn, Ocie, Addie; special friend Sandra Davis.
Barbara was a loving person and had a great sense of humor. When she was able, she attended Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rome, Georgia.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 23, 2022, from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Hildebrandt officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 23, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
