Obituary

Barbara Stone Greeson, 86, of Calhoun, died Thursday, August 19, 2021. She was born in Dalton, Ga on July 14, 1935 to the late Marshall and Flora Chitwood Stone. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, R.M. Greeson and brother, Billy Z. Stone.
Barbara was a member of Blackwood Baptist Church.
Barbara is survived by her children, Randy D. Greeson (Kathy), Todd Greeson, Lane Greeson (Elisa Martin), Kathy Greeson Yanosy (Mike), Stacey Greeson; grandchildren, Zac Wilson, Josh Greeson, Emily Wilson, Stephanie Williams, Presley Greeson, Annsley Greeson, Colby Mincey, Kirbi Mincey; great-grandchildren, Madelyn Wilson, Emmanuel Wilson, Gus Wilson, June Wilson, Elle Greeson, Hannah Grace Greeson, Sawyer Pass, Caden Williams, Brody Williams; aunts, Jean Hefner, Wynette Gazaway; sisters-in-law, JoAnn Bragg Ellis and Ovaline Dinning.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 23, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sone Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers are Zac Wilson, Josh Greeson, Colby Mincey, Presley Greeson, Emmanuel Wilson, and Caden Williams.
