Barbara Jean Gee

Barbara Jean Gee, 86, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on August 31, 2025. She was born on December 27, 1938, to the late Boyce and Lillian Crump. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jimmy Gee; brothers and sisters-in-law, J.C. and Pat Crump, Banks and Shirley Crump.

Barbara was a member of Newtown Baptist Church.

Barbara is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Roy King, Lynne and Matt Barton; grandchildren, Jeremy and Lexuss King, Tyler and Rachel King, Kathryn Barton, and Leslie Barton; and great-grandchildren, Ella King, Langston King, and Wren King.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM from Wesley Chapel Church with Rev. Wesley Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery with Rev. Brandon Bishop officiating. Pallbearers are Paul Crump, Lee Crump, Nolan Rhinehart, Nelson Rhinehart, Chris Gee, and Jeff Dixon. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Crump, Susan Binger, Lamar Crump, and Terry Crump.
