Ava Pauline Motes, infant daughter of Michael and Julie Timms Motes of Calhoun, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Floyd Medical Center.
Besides her parents, Ava is survived by her grandparents, Joe and Barbara Gallman and the late James D. Timms, and Mrs. Peggy Davis, all of Calhoun; and Wayne and Joyce Motes of Dalton. Aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral services for Ava Pauline Motes will be conducted Friday at 2:00pm from the Belmont Baptist Church, with Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiating. Mitchell Timms and Ronald Fuquea will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow the service in the Chandler Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home on Friday, beginning at 12:00 noon until the service.
