Austin Taylor Hammond, 27, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024.  He was born in Calhoun, Georgia on November 19, 1996, to the late Joshua Seth and Tiffany Nicole Mealor Hammond.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Steffan Hammond; great-grandparents, Betty Goble Bailey, Noble Nelson Bailey, Joe Hammond, Ann Hammond, Harvey William Walker, Mary Maxine Walker, Mildred Mealor; great-aunt Betty Bagley Rome.

His survived by his grandparents, Marissa and Randy Williams, Bonnie Sue Richardson, Bobby Mealor and Brenda; brothers, Bryson Hammond, Trenton Hammond; sister, Heaven Hammond; special uncles, Shane Hammond, Bruce Mealor; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews also survive.

Austin was a self-employed handyman and a jack of all trades.  He was of the Baptist Faith.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons with Rev. Zach Plumley officiating.  Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery.  Pallbearers serving are Shawn Huffmaster, Randy Williams, Jr., Michael Williams, Chip Williams, Mason Touchtone, and Trystan Shaw.  Phillip Neal Jr. will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
