Asa J. Bellew, 87, of Dalton, Georgia died Wednesday, January 12, 2022. He was born on June 6, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Thomas and Margaret Brennan Bellew. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Mara and Helen Bellew; sister,Teresa Bellew; brother-in-law, George Senberg.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janet Francis Collins Bellew; daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Thomas Atkisson and Susan and David Bragg; grandchildren, Thomas Atkisson, Alanna Atkisson, Blaine Atkisson, Nicholas Fulginiti, Jax Bragg, and Kian Bragg; brother and sister-in-law, Ira and Rita Bellew; sister, Rita Senberg
To honor his wishes his body was cremated.
Mass will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 10 AM from St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dalton, GA.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
