Anthony “Tony” Bowman, 56, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026. He was born on February 8, 1970. He was preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother, William Mitchell Bowman and Mae Belle Bowman.
Tony was legendary and always loyal to his family.
Tony is survived by his wife, Melissa Bowman; parents, Charles and Linda Welch; sons, Patrick Gates, Jakob Webb, and Trenton Bowman; brother and sister-in-law, Charles “Terry” and Samantha Welch; grandson, Brantley James Gates.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow on Wednesday at 1:00 PM with Dudley Meadows, Charles “Terry” Bowman, and Pastor Bruce Edwards officiating.
The family asks that anyone attending feel free to wear crimson and black to honor Tony.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Anthony “Tony” Bowman.
