Obituary
Annie Ruth Head Bryson, 92, a longtime area resident died on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Regency Park Healthcare following several years of declining health. Born in Whitfield County on March 3, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Ernest H. Head Sr. and Josie Gooden Head. Along with parents, Annie Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bryson, in 1996, and by several siblings. She worked in the textile industry and retired from Dalton Sample Company.
Annie Ruth is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Judy Bryson; her daughter and son-in-law, Janice and W.C. Ward; her grandchildren, Chad A. Bryson, Aubrey Bryson, Gary Stafford, and Noelle Cooper; her brother, Doyle Head; her sister and brother-in-law, Johnnie and Robert Keys; her great-grandchildren, Sydney Bryson, Reece McCoy, Tyler McCoy, Christopher (Grace) Queen, Ashlye Queen, Ethan Cooper, Adam Cooper, Austin Stafford, Alexis Stafford, Allysha Stafford; great-great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Queen and Alexander Queen; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A graveside service for the family members will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Noon, from Haven of Rest Memorial Park.
The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the entire staff at Regency Park in Dalton for the excellent care provided to Annie all the years of her residence there.
The family requests no flowers and ask that donations be made to the American Heart Association or The Alzheimers Association.
