Angela Sonia Dodd

Angela Sonia Dodd, 82, of Armuchee, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025. She was born on September 3, 1943, to the late MC Dobson and Lillie Hook Dobson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Glenn Dodd; brothers, Lamar Dobson, and Lavan Dobson.

Angela is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Scott and Rebekah Shaw, Doug Cordell; daughter and son-in-law, Sonia and Willard Edwards; sister, Marlene Dobson; grandchildren, Jonathon Cordell, Joshua Cordell, Doug Cordell Jr., Keisha Edwards, Kristie Edwards, Kyzer Dale, and Blaze Shaw.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow on Friday, at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Mitch Phillips and Rev. James Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park.  Pallbearers serving are Willard Edwards, Doug Cordell, Ryan White, Kyzer Dale, Sean Henery, and Blaze Shaw.
