Angela Kay Brumlow

Mar 13, 1971 — Jul 10, 2026

Angela Kay Brumlow, 55, was born and raised in Calhoun, Georgia. She graduated from Gordon Central High School in 1990. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Dixon; her father, Richard Dixon; her brothers, Rodney Dixon and Kenny Joe Dixon; and her father-in-law, Tommy Brumlow.

She is survived by her husband, Chad Brumlow; her children, Blair (Robert) Williams, Baylon (Ryleigh) Spector, and Brannon Spector; her stepchildren, Claudia (Evan) Townsend, Will (Gracie) Brumlow, and Wyatt Brumlow; and her grandchildren, Bowen Williams, Shep Spector, and Parks Townsend.

She is also survived by her sister, Songa Dixon; her brother, Jeff (Rita) Dixon; her mother-in-law, Nina Brumlow; her sisters-in-law, Mitzi (Russell) Powell, Penny Dixon; her brother-in-law, Mitchell (Tammie) Brumlow; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Her career was everything she dreamed it could be for young athletes in Calhoun, Georgia. After her time as an Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader, she opened a cheerleading gym, where she coached and inspired young athletes for many years. She worked to help them become the very best they could be, both inside and outside the gym. And, of course, to win. Her competitive spirit shined through in everything she did.

After closing her gym, she devoted her time to traveling and supporting her children as they pursued their own life journeys. In her free time, she was passionate about tending to her flowers and grapevines in the yard. She loved spending time with friends and family at the lake, and she never failed to bring the food, the joy, and, most importantly, the love. Always finding the good in each day, she wanted to capture every special moment with a picture. Before long, her photo gallery was filled with sunsets, grandchildren, dear friends, and cherished family memories.

She was the most devoted and supportive mother, faithfully cheering on her children as they grew up, competed in collegiate sports, and eventually began raising families of their own. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren. To prove it, nearly every night, her “babies” received the same group text: “Goodnight! Love all.”
