Amy Odell Hales

Amy Odell Hales, 91, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024. She was born on November 10, 1932, to the late Voyd and Maudie Mae Long. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 2003, Gordon Hales; brother, Johnny Long; sisters, Ann Mulkey, Dorothy “Dot” Fountain, and Ruby Holbert. 

Odell is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Floyd Murray; brothers and sisters-in-law, Coy and Rhonda Long, Wayne and Mildred Long, David and Cathy Long, Leslie Long, Jackie and Lee Long, Marvin and Mary Long; sister-in-law, Margie Petty; grandchild, Stephen (Tammy) Hales; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Hales, Dane Hales, Meagan Hales and John Gordon Hales, and a host of nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. 

Burial will be held in Crane Eater Cemetery.
