Allen Dale Gabehart

Obituary

Allen Dale Gabehart, 69, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022, following several years of declining health. He was born on February 7, 1953, in Campbellsville, Kentucky to the late Carl and Catherine Gabehart.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sharon Gabehart; sons and daughters-in-law, Duane and Becky Gabehart, Derek and Abby Gabehart; brother Jimmy and Joan Gabehart; brother-in-law Terry and Nancy McGowan; grandchildren, Austin and Alex Gabehart, Brinley and Bryson Gabehart; father-in-law I.E. McGowan; nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Allen worked for many years at Shop Rite Grocery in Chatsworth, Georgia and Microfiltration Inc in Altamonte Springs, Fl. He graduated from Taylor County High School and spent two years at Tennessee Temple Bible School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He served as a member of both the Georgia and Kentucky National Guard. He was also a member and a Deacon of Philadelphia Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons with Brother Tim McCulley officiating. Pallbearers are, Jesse Bowman, Zeke Thomas, Randy Sumner, Kevin Thomas, Donald Bowman, and Stacy Hughey. Honorary pallbearer, Richard Petty. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Allen Dale Gabehart.
