Alicia Ema Cardenas

Alicia Ema Cardenas, 89, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed her earthly life on Friday, September 23, 2023 at Gordon Health Care where she was a resident.

Mrs. Cardenas was born in Angostura Topia Durango on March 24, 1934. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Fidele Torres Cardenas and by a daughter, Rosa Torres. She was a member of St. Clements Catholic Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Rayos Torres; two sons, Jesus Torres and Ramon Torres; grandchildren, Bertha Rubalcava, Carolina Tinoco, Eric Bonilla, Laura Bonilla, Martha Maldonado, Maria Bonilla, Jasmin Bonilla, William Torres, Ramon Torres, Anita Torres and Beba Munoz; great grandchildren, Danny Rubalcava, Kristine Marroquin, Brianna Tinoco, Natalia Bonilla, Geo Bonilla, Jesse Gonzalez, Luis Gonzalez, Antonio Gonzalez, Jr Maldonado, Rusty Maldonado, David Najera, Jaylen Najera, Ulises Alonzo, Ariana Alonzo, Sojahi Alonzo, Jocelyn Munoz; great-great grandchild, Xavier Fernandez along with other relatives.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 25th at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home between the hours of 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clement's Catholic Church, Wednesday, September 27th at 12:00 PM with Father Carlos  Ortega officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery.
