Alice Jean Tripplett

Alice Jean Tripplett, 77, of Calhoun, Georgia died Saturday, September 9, 2023.

She was born on November 8, 1945, in Pikeville, Kentucky, to the late Willard and Bertha McCray. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harce Dwayne Tripplett, sister, Edna June Milan.  

She is survived by her five children, Jack (Angie) Tripplett, Debbie (Curt) Boyd, Theresa Young, Donna Tripplett and David Millsaps, and Thomas Tripplett and Tess Blackburn; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, special friend Howard Bagley.

Alice enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, and the Church in the Holler. She also loved spending time with her family and friends, and her numerous animals.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Haven of Rest Memorial Park with Rev. Gary Quarles officiating. Pallbearers serving are Steven Renner, David Millsaps, Taylor Strickland, Curt Boyd, Ory Holland, and Canyon Black. Honorary pallbearers are Justin Dooley, Roger Robinson, Bobby Young, Dereck Saylor, and Jack Tripplett.

The family would like to thank Missy, Erica, and Chaplain Earl of Willow Brook Hospice for their loving care.
