Alice Erwin Pass

Mrs. Alice Erwin Pass, age 65 of Calhoun, passed away Monday, April 19, 2010 at Morning Pointe Assisted Living. She born in Gordon County on December 27, 1944, daughter of Mary Jo Thomas Erwin and the late Rev. Stanton Erwin. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Shirley Pass.

Mrs. Pass was a homemaker during her lifetime, and was a member of the Victory Temple Church of God.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Jo Thomas Erwin; her husband, Mickey Pass of Calhoun, to whom she was married for 45 years; a son, Darren Pass and his children, Cory, Calen, Cameron, and Collin Pass; a daughter, Heather Adcock and her husband Andrew, and their children, Ali, Heath, Leila, and Olivia Adcock, all of Calhoun; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Linda Erwin, Randy and Wilma Erwin, Danny and Benita Erwin, and Timmy and Pam Erwin, all of Calhoun; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlotte and Lamar Tomlinson, and Debbie and Henry Hunter. Also surviving are brothers-in-law, Geryl Pass and his companion Kat of Calhoun, and Clay Pass and his wife Barbara of Iowa; and sisters-in-law, Cheryl Cagle and her husband Gary of Chatsworth, and Pat Goble and her husband Randy of Michigan.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Erwin Pass will be conducted Wednesday, April 21 at 2:00pm from the Victory Temple Church of God, with Pastors Jeff Dutton and Keith Reid officiating. Interment will follow in the Haven of Rest Memorial Park, with Pastor Dennis Childers conducting the committal service. Active pallbearers will include Tony Tomlinson, Jeff Erwin, Monte Erwin, Jason Carney, Cory Pass, and Calen Pass. Honorary pallbearers will be the Adult Sunday School Class of Victory Temple Church of God, and the staff of Morning Pointe Assisted Living.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Tuesday after 6:00pm.
