Willie Lewis Waggoner Jr

Mr. Willie “Lewis” Waggoner Jr., 75, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Advent Health-Gordon after several years of declining health.

He was born August 12, 1947, the son of the late Willie Lewis Waggoner Sr and Cora Pauline Powers Waggoner. Prior to retirement, he was employed by the Harbinger Group Inc. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp.

Survivors include his five siblings, Margaret Newsome, Martha Sue Suggs, Trudy Waggoner, Judy (Joe) Butler, and Charles (Sherry) Waggoner. Nieces and nephews, Maurice (Stephanie) Jones, Dale Hornyak, Eddie Newsome, Heather Timms, Shelly (Tim) Davenport, Kenni Smith, Dusty and Kase Waggoner.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 27th at 4:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Timms officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery at Hall Memorial Church.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 26th between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at the funeral Home.
