Willie F. 'Bill' Ross

Willie F. "Bill" Ross, 81 of Plainville, GA died Monday, December 18, 2017, at Floyd Hospital, from injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born in Copper Hill, TN on February 28, 1936, son of the late Clyde and Magdalene Wade Ross. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Ross.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Annette Shoemaker Ross; his sons and daughter-in-law, Terry and Suzanne Ross of Calhoun, and Billy Ross of Rome; his daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Donnie Warren of Calhoun, and Tammy and Thomas Daniel; a step-son, Kevin Myrick of Calhoun; step-daughters, Angela Davidson of Calhoun, and Tammie Trotter and her husband Dusty of Rome; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Sandra Raburn of Rome, and Paul and Darla Raburn; his sisters, Linda Castell of Rome, Eula Mae Ellison, Pauline Henderson, and Barbara Raburn; grandchildren, Zac Ross, Gabe Ross, Skylar Ross, Michael Ross, Bogan Ross, Haley Lock, and Jeremy Warren; step-grandchildren, Easton Trotter, Ashley Mulkey, Chandler Autry, Natalie Davidson, Landon Trotter, Bailey Abernathy, Peyton Myrick, Ella-Mae Myrick, and Charlie Myrick; and great-grandchildren, Tinsley, Bo, Jaxon, Lyla, Daxton, Krista, Edward, Hunter, Sophia, Makalya, and Ethan; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Services to honor the life of Willie F. "Bill" Ross will be held Wednesday, December 20th at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Luke Morgan will officiate. Rev. William Daniel, Jr. will speak at the committal service at Oostanaula Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kevin Myrick, Dusty Trotter, Thomas Daniel, Tim Lock, Chandler Autry, Jeremy Warren, and Landon Trotter.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 19th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
