Virginia Casini Bruni

Mrs. Virginia Casini Bruni, 88 of Calhoun, GA, died Wednesday, July 01, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Roulette, PA on May 7, 1927, daughter of the late Emidio and Nancy Tontinni Casini. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel J. Bruni; and her brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Bruni was the last living child of her family. After growing up in Pennsylvania, she had lived in Englewood, FL for many years. She then moved to Calhoun, living with her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Gail.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Gail Bruni of Calhoun, Chris and Kathy Bruni of Pearisburg, VA, and Dan and Tamara Bruni of Phoenix, AZ; her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Dean Phillips of Leesburg, FL; grandchildren, Tana (Tim) Stark of Clermont, FL, Vincent Bruni of Washington, D.C., Anthony Bruni of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Nick Bruni of Longwood, FL, Eric (Ali) Bruni of Virginia Beach, VA, Michael Bruni of Greensboro, NC, Rob Bruni of Washington, D.C., Matt (Catherine) Bruni of Savannah, GA; a great-grandchild, Kaylee Stark; and a niece who was like a daughter, Denise (Jim) Bridges and sons Mason and Alex of Roulette, PA. A host of great nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Bruni's body will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
