Mrs. Vickie Nicholson Ledford, 61 of Adairsville, died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at her home. She was born in Pickens County, GA on January 30, 1954, daughter of Minnie Lee Stafford Nicholson and the late Willie Nicholson. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, John Wilson.

She leaves behind her mother, Minnie Lee Stafford Nicholson; her husband, Earnest Ledford; her son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Sandi Ledford of Kiln, Mississippi; her daughters and sons-in-law, Stacie and Arthur Hughes of Cartersville, Becky and Brian Rich of Calhoun, Gail and Phillip McAtee of Dalton, and April Wilson of Dalton; her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Freddie Nicholson of Ellijay; and her sisters and brothers-in-law, Teresa and Dwight Fox of Pine Log, Jerri and Terry Baker of Ellijay, and Pam and Brian Struzzieri of Rome. Fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives also survive.

Services to honor the life of Mrs. Vickie Nicholson Ledford will be held Friday July 3rd at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Tim Sanford and Rev. Reggie Nation officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Reed Hughes, Daniel Patterson, Lee Ledford, Chris Nabors, Dwight Fox, and Damien Baker. Honorary pallbearers are Richard McAtee and Jonathon Baker.

The Ledford family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

The family would like give special thanks to the Gordon Hospital Respiratory Department for their care of Mrs. Ledford.
