Timothy Gregory

Timothy Eugene Gregory age 63 of Dalton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on May 5, 2023, from complications of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. He courageously fought an impossible fight and he now rest easy with the Lord.

Timothy loved Jesus, dogs, eating good food, bass fishing, Atlanta Braves baseball, and UGA football. He was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be missed by many and forgotten by none.

Timothy is preceded in death by his parents Bradley and Shirley Gregory; grandparents, Berlin and Evar Blaylock, Pauline Gregory, and Frank Peeples Gregory; brother, Vann who also passed away from complications from ALS.

He is survived by his son, Justin (Ginny) Gregory of Cumming, Georgia; daughter, Grace Gregory of Dalton, Georgia; granddaughter, Ariyah Green of Dalton, Georgia; sisters, Gina Gregory of Dalton, Georgia, Barbara Hennon of Dalton, Georgia; brothers, Clark (Linda) Gregory of Jefferson, Georgia, Patrick (Vickie) Gregory of Dalton, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Blake, Rachel, Hannah, Kelsey, Cole, Seth, Keith, Andrew, Stephen, Brooke , Renee, and Ricky; grand fur child, Miss Ruby.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, from 9:30 am until 12:00 noon at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. A private family burial will be in Chandler cemetery following the visitation.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that you take time during your day to be kind to someone.
