Obituary

Suelane Young Redd, 69, of Fairmount, Georgia died Thursday, March 17, 2022, after a brief illness. She was born on November 22, 1952, in Gordon County to the late Doyle and Leoma Hamrick Young. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Randall Young and Quillian Young; sisters, Hazel Gravely, Elizabeth, and Martha Young; grandsons, Timothy Redd and Austin Baldwin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clearance and Fannie Ruth Redd; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Johnny Redd and Edna Wilson; daughter-in-law, Annie Mae Redd.
Prior to retirement Suelane was employed by Calhoun Health Care and Wildwood Nursing Home as a Nurse Assistant. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be missed dearly by the ones who loved her. She was a member of Canaanland Christian Center
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, James "Buddy" Redd; sons and daughters-in-law, Kim Redd (Judy), Tim Redd ( Becky), and Russell Redd (Heather); daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Davis (Shane), Rebecca Young (Kenny), and Jennifer Angel (Timothy); brothers and sisters-in-law, E.J. Young, M.C. Young (Connie), and Tracy Young (Lynn); sisters and brother-in-law, Carolyn Parker and Marcella Haswell (Billy); grandchildren, Tabitha Carter (Kyle), Nick Horn, Brittany Lockard (Jeremy), Brittany Duncan (Derrick), Dustin Davis (Kayla), Tyler Baldwin (Alexis), Kayla Redd, Peyton Angel, Katelyn Redd, Keegan Angel, Elijah Angel, Zach Young (Hannah), and Cody Young (Danielle); great grandchildren, Hannah, Taylor, Leah, Kyla, Braxen, Cadjrin, Ryder, Kaliber, Kase, Brantley, Skylynn, Timber, Jayden, Kyler, Layson, Maddox, Amari, Zoey, Hudson, Chantin, Bentley, Zayla, Aiden, Aubry, Cole, and Mila; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dean Redd (Sherry), Teddy Redd, Ricky Redd, Billy Redd (Pam), Joyce Young, Mattie Lou Redd, and Joann Redd; fur babies, Baby, Lula Bell, and T Pot; several nieces, nephews, cousin, and other relatives also survive.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be conducted on Monday, March 21, 2022, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Lamar Long officiating. Burial will follow in Towe Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers are, Billy Redd, Bryan Bradshaw, Sonny Parker, Stacy Young, Michael Childers, Keith Young, and Tracy Young Jr.
