Obituary

Sherrill Walraven, 79, of Tybee Island, formerly of Calhoun, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022. She was born on March 26, 1942, in Fairplay, South Carolina to the late JC and Willard Herring Glenn. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Cecil Kenneth Walraven; sisters and brother-in-law, Sharon and Jerry Randall and Shelby Royal.
She is survived by her sons, Kenny (Staci) Walraven, Johnny Walraven, and Joey (Kelly) Walraven; grandchildren, Shannon, Jonathan, Nathan, Callie, India, Averi, Eli; great-grandchildren, Emily, Mack, Bo, Cade; several nieces and nephews, including several whom she was very close, Stacy Floyd, Sherry Floyd, Mandi Randall Mathews, and Chris Randall.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 14, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday February 15, 2022, at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Tony Farrell and David Holland officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are, Curt Bearden, Vince Steele, Michael Pate, Rodney Curtis, Jeff Thomason, Scott Hall, and Mitchell Washington.
