Roland David Lee

Mr. Roland David Lee, age 79 of Calhoun, died Saturday, August 22, 2015. He was born in Ohatchee, Alabama on September 28, 1935, son of the late Mathis Lee and Essie Mae Lee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Crage Lee and by his siblings Coaker Lee, T.P. Lee, Luther Lee, Mamie Hill, and Norma Davis.

Prior to his retirement, he worked at Shaw Industries. He was also a member of House of Prayer.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Dudley; step-daughters, Connie Smith, Gail Bramlett, and Pam Puckett; step-sons, Rickey Pierce, Rodney Pierce, Richie Pierce, and Randy Pierce; a special niece, Gloria Thomas; sisters, Mary Ray and Emma Jean Young.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Roland David Lee will be held Tuesday, August 25th at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Daniel Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Haven of Rest. Pall bearers serving are Rickey Pierce, Rodney Pierce, Ritchie Pierce, Rickey Whitfield, Jeff Whitfield, and Eric Groomes.

The Lee family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 24th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
