Obituary

Robert (Bobby) Dean Abbott, 69 of Calhoun, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021. He was born on January 29, 1952, to Inez Hines Russell and the late Robert Harlan Abbott. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his step-daughter-in-law Tammy Burchett.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Tyrone (Bucky) Abbott (Krissy); step-sons Patrick Burchett and Doug Burchett; step-daughter Jennifer Morris; sister Marlene Thomas (Russell); grandchildren Caidan, Tanner, Tara, and Tyler Abbott, David Pryor, Dennis Haney, Mark Haney, Alyssia Haney; nieces and nephews Lance Thomas, Stephanie Krivsky, Casey Thomas; many other friends and family also survive.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour; 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN 37865. The funeral service will follow the visitation, beginning at 10:00 am. A graveside service will follow the funeral from Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery; 5302 Nails Creek Rd, Maryville, TN 37804.
