Obituary

Rev. Steven Wilson Hartline,70, of Resaca, GA, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born in LaFayette, GA on February 2, 1949, son of the late Raymond Wilson Hartline and Effie Gilbreath Hartline. Rev. Hartline was the founder and pastor of Spirit of Truth Ministries in Dalton, GA.
Steven was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janice Skates Hartline; his son, Coey Hartline and his wife Nicole; his brother, Danny Hartline and his wife Brenda; his sisters, Susan Seal and her husband Ralph, and Diane Taylor .
A Memorial Service to honor his life will be held Saturday, November 2nd at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Coey Hartline officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM.until the service hour.
