Obituary

Rachel Ann Sisson, 59, of Calhoun, Georgia died February 10, 2022, after a brief illness. She was born on January 9, 1963, in Hartsell, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2016, Melton Rickey Sisson. and her Dad, Charles Lee Hatt; sister, Brenda Simerly.
For years she was employed in the carpet industry and attended Red Bud High School.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Buddy (Dena) Caudle; daughter and son-in-law, Brittany (Justin Cooper) Black; brothers, Charles "Chuck" Hatt and Lesley McCormick; sisters, Connie Desrosier, Judy McCormick, and Marie Cook; Mother, Lucy Hatt; grandchildren, Riley Caudle, Emrie Vineyard, and Zayden Vineyard; fur babies, Jasmine and Sweet Pea; nieces and nephews also survive.
To honor her wishes her body was cremated and a memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 4:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Brannon and Bud Owens officiating.
