Paul Wayne Greene, 72, of Bartow County, GA, died Friday, October 25, 2019 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. He was born in Adairsville, GA on March 30, 1947, son of the late James Grover and Vista Lorene Harris Greene. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Wilkerson Greene in 2003; a brother, Tommy Gilbert Greene; sisters, Ella Mae Bates, Oma Lou Greene, and Janice Ann Greene; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Ann Greene.
Paul lived in Centre, AL for 26 years. After the death of his wife, he moved back to Bartow County.
Survivors include his brothers and sister-in-law, James Donald Greene of Florida, Johnny Lee and Linda Greene of Kingston, and Frank Greene of Calhoun; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Linnie Florene Kimbrel of Kingston, Betty Louise and Jack Craig of Kingston, Bobbie Faye Harrison of Florida, Darlene and Mike Brooks of Dallas, GA, Linda D. White of Calhoun, and Mattie Jewel and Chris Meeks of Kingston; and a host of nieces nephews, and cousins.
Services to honor his life will be held Tuesday, October 29th at 3:00 PM from Freedom House of Worship, with Rev. Richard Pack, Rev. Chris Pack, and Rev. Frank Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Towes Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include; Craig Owens, Henry Adams, Kenneth Pope, Chris Meeks, Vaughn Craig and Chad White.
The family will receive friends at Freedom House of Worship on Tuesday, October 29th, from 1:00 PM until the service hour of 3:00 PM.
Funeral arrangements for Paul Wayne Greene are under the care and direction of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun.
