Obituary

Mrs. Patricia Ann "Trish" Mulkey Collis, 69 of Ranger died Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at her residence following a heart attack. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a caring friend.
Trish was born in Gordon County on September 10, 1950, daughter of the late John D. "Buddy" Mulkey and Adell Brannon Mulkey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Harry D. Mulkey, Billy Ray Mulkey and Jerry Mitchell Mulkey; and a sister, Barbara M. Mulkey.
Trish was a graduate of Fairmount High School, a licensed Cosmetologist and worked as a beautician in the Fairmount community for many years and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church near Ranger.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Terry L. Collis, two sons; Jeremy Collis and his wife Tanya and Jamey Collis, two grandchildren; Joshua Collis and Kaylee Collis, one brother, Larry Mulkey, three sisters, Joan Mulkey Edmonds and her husband Castel, Wanda Mulkey Densmore and her husband John and Teresa Mulkey. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor, James Nix and Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include; Jonathan Cronon, Phillip Gilbert, Zevan Gilbert, Mark Gilbert, Daniel Mulkey and Neal Edmonds. Honorary pallbearers are asked to meet at the funeral home Saturday at 2:40 PM and include; Mark Burchett, Rex Anderson, Nathan Silvers, Ronald Headrick, Jason Rhymer and Joseph Burchett.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to three of Her favorite recipients: Gideons International Gordon County Camp, P.O. Box 1254, Calhoun, GA 30703; Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 187, Ranger, GA 30734; The Paralyzed Veterans Fund at www.pva.org.
Anyone wanting to bring food is asked to take it to the Liberty Baptist Church Fellowship Hall for a meal after the service.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 14th at the funeral home between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00 PM. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at maxbrannonandsons.com.
