Ola Mae Parker

Mrs. Ola Mae Cowart Parker, 81 of Adairsville, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015. She was born in Gordon County on October 27, 1933, daughter of the late Clifford Thornton and Christine Tate Cowart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freeman Gene Parker in 1992; her son, Terry Gene Parker; her daughter, Diane Quintana; and her sister, Martha Sue Raines.

Mrs. Parker was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Jeremy Cromer and his wife Charlotte, and Corey Parker; great-grandchildren, Lexie Reid, Jace Cromer, and Dawson Cromer; two special sister-in-laws, Clistia Cartee and Bobbie Mattos; a very special niece, Patsy Crocker and her husband Billy; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Ola Mae Parker will be held Friday, June 5th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Jason Parker, Rev. David Guthrie, and Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Pall bearers serving include Corey Parker, Jeremy Cromer, Edmundo Quintana, and William Dockery. Honorary pallbearers serving include her Sunday School Class at Bethlehem Baptist Church.

The Parker family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 4th from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
