Nancy Lynn Stansell Crump

Nancy Lynn Stansell Crump, 61, of Calhoun, Georgia died Sunday, May 14, 2023, after 6 months of declining health. She was born on July 18, 1961, in Gordon County to the late Roy and Evelyn Fuller Stansell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Stansell and Doyle Stansell; sisters, Martha Hughes, Vera Stansell, Elizabeth Hill, and Betty Patterson.

Nancy was a loving, kind, and considerate lady. She loved her Lord and loved anything Chase Elliot and Nascar related. She will be missed by so many. She was of Baptist Faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Ann Ellington; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny (Denise) Stansell; sisters and brother-in-law, Diane Young, Judy Hill, and Frances (Donald) Timms; granddaughter, Chloe Ellington; special nieces, Julie Boggs and Amber Scoggins; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be conducted on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 1:00 pm from the Chapel at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery, Pallbearers are, Drew Campbell, Daniel Campbell, David Hill, Allen Hill, Zachary Hill, Bruce King, and Perry Dacus.
