Martha Pauline Wheat

Pauline Wheat, 73, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023. She was born in Summerville, Georgia on May 27, 1949, to the late Jay Doyle and Reva Hunter.

She is survived by her sons, John (Sherry) Roberts, Steven Wheat; daughters, Cathy Brown, Jennifer Krouse, Michelle (Chris) Green; grandchildren, Garrett Brown, Alishia VanDyke, Chris Colburn, Jalynn Wyatt, Kelly Green, Jake Green; great-grandchildren, Reagan Weeks, Asher Brown, Skye Fowler, Jaedyn Fowler.

Pauline proudly served her country for four years in the United States Air Force. She loved to be outside, working in her yard and flower beds. She was the boss lady of the family and took care of everybody. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and had a servant’s heart.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Lucas Butler officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the service hour. To honor her wishes, her body will be cremated following the service. The family asks for house arrangements only, as there will be no service at the cemetery.
