Linda Sue Stanley

Linda Sue Stanley, 78, of Calhoun, Georgia died Monday, February 20, 2023. She was born on June 24, 1945, in Calhoun, Georgia to the late A.L. and Mozell Pulliam Pate. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Claude Thomas Stanley.

Prior to retirement, Linda was employed by The Dixie Group.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Junior and Lynda Stanley and Atnas and Pam Stanley; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Curtis Mathis; grandchildren, Nena Stanley, Kaitlyn and Ben Gibson, and Brad and Ashlee Stanley; great grandchildren, Grayson Gibson and Lilly Stanley; niece and nephews, Chad and Becky Mathis; great nieces, Grace and Haley Mathis; longtime friends, Eddie Brannon and Cheryl Johnston.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be conducted on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Zach Parker, Jason Weaver, Phillip Weaver, Glen Stanley, Chance Stanley, and Ashton Stanley. Honorary pallbearers Curtis Mathis, Brad Stanley, Chad Mathis, Ben Gibson, and Josh Johnston.
