Linda was born in Russellville, Alabama on March 9, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Leonard Edward 'Jack' Landers and I.V. Crittenden Landers. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, LaRue and Gayle Williams. Linda loved being involved with her church, Calhoun Seventh Day Adventist, especially helping to arrange musical programs. She retired, after thirty-three years of service, as a secretary for the Georgia-Cumberland Conference Office of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Linda will be remembered as a loving, involved, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Survivors include her daughter, Amy Terry; her grandchildren, Davis Chase Cassell and Sydney Rose Terry; her brother, Edward Hudon Landers and his wife, Sharon; her nephews, Darryl Williams and Jonathan Landers; her niece, Lisa Landers DuBose; her great-nieces, Bethany DuBose, Kaylynn Williams, Bailey DuBose, Karen Landers, Samantha Landers, and Taylor Landers; her great-great niece, Evelyn Williams. Linda is also survived by many good friends that she considered family.
As many friends know, Lindas grandson, Chase Cassell, has been her constant and loving caregiver for the past two- and one-half years. She deeply wanted Chase to continue his education and regretted that her health interrupted his plans. Instead of flowers, Linda requested that donations be made to help Chase with his college fund. Checks may be made to "Chase Cassell" and "College fund" should be written in the memo line. Checks may be mailed to Mr. Chase Cassell c/o Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 1027, Calhoun, GA 30703.
Friends may sign the online guest register at www.maxbrannonandsons.com. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun.
