Obituary

Mrs. Joyce "Marie" Mitchell Stanley, 73, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 8th at 11:50 PM at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Stanley was born in Tampa, Florida on January 8, 1947, daughter of the late, James Ferdinand Mitchell and Mildred Etheldra Brown. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Cintas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Lynwood and Anne Mitchell, sisters, Betty Walker and Lena Farmer, brothers-in-law, Jim Stanley, Jim Shepherd and sister-in-law, Theodora Stanley.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Wayne Stanley, SR., two daughters; Jennifer Stanley Clayton and her husband Marion and Kelly Stanley Smith and her husband Raymond Jr., one son, Gary Wayne Stanley Jr. and his wife Danielle. one sister, Milly Sue Shepherd. Grandchildren; Angelea Clayton Brewer, Chelsea Clayton, Kaleigh Marie Ford, Amanda Brunner, James Brunner, Alexander Stanley, Bryson Thurman and Cadence Stanley. Great-grandchildren; Paisley Brewer, Elijah Brewer and Ryder Ford. Surviving nieces and nephews; Cheryl Clerc, Bonnie Howard, David Shepherd, Don Stanley, James Stanley, Tim Walker, Stacey Walker Bryan and Andrea Mitchell.
A service to honor the life of Joyce "Marie" Stanley will be held Wednesday, February 12th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Crider officiating. Music will be arranged by Marion Clayton. Pallbearers serving will include; Lamont Gallan, Casey Chastain, Raymond Smith Jr., Marc Clerc, David Clerc and Don Stanley. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park.
The Stanley family will receive friends Tuesday February 11th at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
