Jerry Wilson Braden was born November 6, 1944, in Calhoun, Georgia and was the youngest son of Alice Autry Braden and Dewey W. Braden. He graduated Calhoun High School in 1962, attended Berry College for 2 years and graduated from the University of Georgia with a MS Degree in 1970.
He was a real estate developer, responsible for the development of single-family subdivisions and numerous multi-family apartment complexes, focusing on housing for seniors. He was very well respected by many for his work and his contribution to the community.
He enjoyed antique tractors. He also enjoyed operating an excavator and developing land.
He is survived by his wife, Annamarie, his daughter Loree Sherman and her husband Nicholas Sherman; his nephew Keith Braden and wife Mary Braden and their children; nephew Ricky Braden and wife Karen Braden and their children; Stepson, John Johnson and wife Eleanor Johnson and their 3 children; Stepdaughter Nancy Johnson and her 3 children; Stepson, Curtis Floener and his 2 children.
To honor his wishes, no services will be held at this time.
