Janell Fox Ezell

Mrs. Janell Fox Ezell, 74 of Rydal, died Monday, February 8, 2016 at Floyd Hospital. She was born in Bartow County on December 3, 1941, daughter of the late William Robert and Hazel Gatlin Fox.

Mrs. Ezell enjoyed gardening in her yard. She was known as a wonderful cook. Her friends may remember her Thursday night suppers and Sunday morning breakfasts. She attended the Mt. Carmel Church of Jesus Christ.

She leaves behind her husband of 56 years, J.B. Ezell; her sons, Stan and his wife, Dr. Emily Ezell of Canton, and Steve and his wife, Darlene Ezell of White; her daughter, Connie Ralph and her husband Jimmy of Nashville, TN; brothers, William "Buddy" Fox and his wife Glenda, and Tommy Fox, all of Calhoun; a sister, Jane Childers and her husband Kenneth; grandchildren, Candie Kapanowski (Mark), Whitney, Trent, Bret, and Holt; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Rebekah, Michael, and John.

Services to honor the life of Mrs. Janell Fox Ezell will be held Thursday, February 11th at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Hershel Pierce officiating. Interment will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will include Andy Long, Jeff Cronon, David Crump, Alfred Harris, Garson Cornwell, and Clifford Crump.

The Ezell family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 10th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
