Obituary

Jack Massingill Jr., 60, of Calhoun, died Thursday, June 20, 2019 at his home. He was born in Floyd County on February 2, 1959, son of the late Jack and Agnes Garlin Massingill Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by uncles, Charles D. Garlin, and Jerry Brown.
Jack was a truck driver for Quality Finishers prior to becoming disabled. He was of the Church of God faith.
Survivors include his aunts, Retha Brown and Lillie Mae Payne; and other relatives.
Honoring his wishes, his body will be cremated and there will be no services.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun.
