Hubert Daniel Mullins

Mr. Hubert "Daniel" Mullins, 53 of Oakman, died Thursday, February 4, 2016. He was born on November 20, 1962, son of Lester Mullins and the late Glenda Lyles Mullins. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Mullins and Jonathan Mullins.

Mr. Mullins attended Fairmount School. He spent his entire life in Gordon County. He loved to cook outdoors and spend time with his family, friends, and especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Cindy Mullins; one son, Jason Mullins; one step-son, Ronnie McGill; his father, Lester Mullins; one brother, Timmy Mullins and his wife Janice; two sisters, Janice Spurlock and her husband Eddie and Alicia Cain and her husband Doug; two step-sisters, Elizabeth Holland of Ranger, GA and Brenda Caldwell and her husband Steve of Tunnel Hill, grandchildren, Bryson McGill Mullins, Aaron McGill Mullins, and Hailey McGill Mullins; nieces and nephews, Crystal Nichelson, Jeff Nichelson, Greg Nichelson, Derrick Pinson, Ethan Rampley, Donovan Rampley, David Rampley, Elizabeth Roberts, Savannah Mullins, Jacob and Sarah Holland, Cody Chastain, Allen Thomason and Emily Caldwell. A special Aunt, Julie Timms and her husband Stoney of Calhoun.

Funeral Services for Mr. Mullins will be held Tuesday, February 9th at 3:00 PM from Fairview Church of God, with Rev. Michael Stone officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Church of God Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Jason McGill, Ethan Rampley, Curtis Silvers, Buck Peek, Stoney Timms, and Donovan Rampley.

The Mullins family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday, February 9th from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
