Gwendolyn C. Scott, 94, of Calhoun, Georgia died Wednesday, February 26, 2020. She was born on April 4, 1925 in Austell, Georgia to the late John M. and Clara James Causey. She was proceeded in death by her husband, E. Reilly Scott; brothers and sister-in-law; John Causey Jr, Norman (Dick) and Lene Causey; sisters, Willie Lee (Snookie) Haggard, Louise McKinney, and Sara Tharpe; and special best friend, Wito Peters.
Survivors include her son; Brett Scott; daughter and son- in-law, Teena and Joey Lusk; grandchildren, Samantha Lusk, Justin Scott, and Kateland Scott; great grandchildren, Beau Black,Gunner Gwin and Hattie Mae Scott;cousin, Spencer Causey; nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
A graveside service will be held Friday, February 28, 2020 at 1:30 PM from Rose Hill Cemetery in Austell, GA ,2845 Cemetery Street Austell, Georgia, 30106; with Rev. Jether Cochran. Serving as pallbearers include Justin Scott and Beau Black. In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to Calhoun Voluntary Action Center PO Box 631 Calhoun, Ga. 30703/ www.voluntaryactioncenter.org
