Obituary

Mr. Frankie Fain, 77 of Resaca, GA, died Friday, August 9, 2019 at his residence following three years of declining health.
Mr. Fain was born in Gordon County, GA on July 28, 1942, son of the late Conway and Gladys Odell Hall Fain. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers, Ronald Fain, Tommy Fain,James Fain, Jack Fain and Robert Fain; and two sisters, Louise Silvers and Irene Miller. He was retired from the textile industry, having been employed by The Sample Factory. Frankie was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Bobbie Jeane Freeman; his daughter, Teresa Brown; his sons, Greg Fain and his wife Vickie, and Todd Fain and his wife Pam; three granddaughters; seven grandsons; five great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; his favorite little pup - Baili; two sisters, Joann Coggins and her husband Gether, and Vivian Lovingood; and a brother, Thomas (Boney) Fain and his wife Barbara.
The funeral service for Mr. Frankie Fain will be held on Monday, August 12th at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerome Silvers officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park, with Rev. Roger Hooker in charge of the graveside service. Pallbearers serving will include Taylor Fain, Cody Self, Andrew Troglin, Dale Silvers, and Ricky Freeman
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, August 11th between the hours of 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Evergreen Baptist Church, % Ricky Crook, 3921 Maple Grove Church Road, Resaca, GA. 30735, in Frankie's memory.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home.
