Evelyn Jeanette Cohran

Mrs. Evelyn Jeanette Cohran, 74 of Adairsville, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at her daughters home, following a year of declining health. She was born in Douglas County, GA on July 9, 1942, daughter of the late Verley Gordon Golden and the late Mae Beatrice Bragg Golden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James (Maxine) Golden, Junior Lee Golden, and David Lee Golden.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rosie and Steve Pasley of Adairsville; her sisters, Noretta Fordham of Tyus, GA, and Martha (Carol) Noelon of Buchannan, GA; her grandchildren, Josh McAdams, Candice and Charlie Puckett, and Brandi and Chris McCormick; and her great-grandchildren, Victoria McCormick, Avery McAdams, Katelyn McCormick, Westlyn McAdams, Jordan McCormick, Bailee Renfroe, Hollis McAdams, and Harper Puckett. A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
Honoring Mrs. Cohrans wishes, her body was cremated. A family Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 8th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Clyde McEntyre officiating.
